Archival Printing
I found it beneficial to be in control of my art from start to finish.
Using my 20+ years of Graphic Design and printing experience I've invested in a wide-format printer to provide archival quality reproductions of my work.
What is Archival Printing
Archival prints also known as giclée prints (pronounced "zhee'clay") all result in how the prints are made. They are known for how close they can be to the original piece and the life expectancy of lasting 150 to 200 years.
To achieve this a few steps must be made. They must be done on a wide-format ink jet printer with at least 11+ ink cartridges. These cartridges must contain archival inks.
The paper stock chosen must be high-end, acid free paper.
The digital file must be of the highest scanned version of the piece.
All the above will provide the archival quality that a lot of artist (myself included) look for when providing prints of their work.
Each of my latest prints include an Archival Certificate signed by me to prove that the print will last the lifetime of the owner.
