Using wine as an artistic medium is unique, unpredictable, and took many years to control.

Over the last 11 years I have mastered the ability to create unique and highly detailed paintings using wine.
By using wine straight out of the bottle and the wine sediment, I am able to achieve various depths in colour as well as the medium itself. Painting with wine is similar to painting with watercolour pigment. However, when painting with the sediment it is similar to acrylic paints.

Practical Magic
A quote from one of my favourite movies!
"Always throw spilt salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gates, plant lavender for luck and fall in love whenever you can."

Bath Abbey Church
I fell in love with this chandelier while visiting the Bath Abbey Church in Bath, UK. The fan vaulted ceilings were breathtaking and I took a million reference shots while there.
With this piece I used ink for the chandelier and aged Cabernet Franc wine throughout the background. Since the wine was already aged it won't change much over time.
As of right now the original is for sale. I'm on the fence of offering limited edition prints of it.
